Construction of DC115 is complete and the building is ready for occupation. This building is the first new ‘ready to occupy’ opportunity at this next phase of Prologis RFI DIRFT.
The Grade ‘A’ building is designed to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation and the best possible EPC rating for its size, resulting in huge energy bill savings for the occupier. The specification includes a rooftop solar installation that will generate 10 percent of the building’s regulated energy and feeds into the Tesla storage batteries allowing the occupier to ‘trim’ their power usage costs at high use points or high cost points during each 24 hour period.
Prologis RFI DIRFT has planning consent for 7.8 million square feet of rail-served logistics space and a new rail terminal that will link to the existing Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT) infrastructure. Located close to the M1 and M6 motorways and to the A14 and A5 trunk roads.
